This course provides an introduction to the terminology and skills of evidence-based nursing practice. Students will focus on the practical skills required to identify and appraise best evidence to support gerontological nursing practice. Students will be exposed to all components of the research process. Issues related to implementation and integration of best evidence in practice will be included. Students will examine current research in gerontological practice and gain skills in the application of research
