This course trains students to develop the speaking and listening skills that are needed for effective communication at an Elementary Level in English. Emphasis is placed on developing oral and aural proficiency in matters of the personal interest and familiar situations.
This course enables students to communicate in English at an Elementary level, on subjects of personal interest and in a variety of everyday situations. Emphasis is places on extending vocabulary, with the aim of developing oral proficiency in the target language.
This is an integrated and wide-ranging course catering to students with little knowledge of English. It provides a basic structural and lexical foundation, incorporating repetition and practice to develop and extend students' confidence and communicative abilities in the four language skills. All skills being developed in this course are further reinforced in the other courses that comprise the EFL Programme.
