This course introduces students to the organization of companies and modern communication media with special focus on language structure.

This course gives an overview of the tourism industry and develops written communication skills related to the marketing and promotion of the tourism product and services.

This course gives an overview of International Organisations and International Trade and aims to develop proficiency in written communication with emphasis on translation and summary techniques.

This course facilitates the development of aural and reading comprehension skills using material from varied sources on topics related to the culture of the languages being studied.  Emphasis will be placed on the reinforcement of language structures, vocabulary and idiom.

This course develops oral skills for communication, in the target language, in the business environment with emphasis on situations of a professional nature.

This course further develops, in the target language, oral skills for communication in the various sectors of the Hospitality/Tourism Industry.  The course also includes a fieldwork component in tour guiding.

This course develops proficiency, in the target language, both for aural interpretation and oral production.  Emphasis is placed on critical and creative thinking and on in-depth exploration of communication through the media.
