This course is designed to introduce students to the computer keyboard and to develop correct data entry techniques and error correction skills.  Word processing productivity will be achieved through the teaching of Document Creation, Text Editing, Document Formatting, Refining and Changing the appearance and the operation of documents, saving, retrieval and printing of text.

  This course will assist the participant to improve on their oral skills as well as to develop their written skills. Participants will be taught how to organize and present information to appeal to a specific audience and to suit specific purposes. 

This course will consolidate the skills developed in the previous modules on computer/software applications, with an emphasis on health information.

This course is designed to enable the student to explain the cause(s) of a disease given that: (i) the disease has been described according to the major epidemiological variables; (ii) and a tentative hypothesis or hypotheses has/have been formed.  

This course will provide an understanding of the organization and processes of health-care systems with emphasis given to the increasing role of health information in the planning, operation and management of health services.
