This course is designed to extract the practical application from the theoretical modules and relate these to the practice of Community Mental Health nursing. It will enable students to integrate theory and practice, thereby facilitating narrowing of the theory-practice gap. The focus of this course will be as follows:
The Human Life Span – Development, Adaptation and Change 2. Adulthood and Aging, Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Disaster Management and Health Sector Management. In addition, students will be introduced to basic applications of computer technology.
