This course offers both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in hairdressing. It covers topics such as hair and scalp analysis, diagnosis and corrective treatment, shampooing techniques, conditioning treatments, and hairstyling with various salon products. Students will have the opportunity to practice on clients under clinical conditions, developing their skills and customer care. The course also focuses on improving job presentation skills and creative talents in hairdressing, as well as attention to detail. Participants can use the skills learned in this course for self-employment or entry-level positions in hairdressing. Additionally, they can pursue assessments for some units in the Caribbean Vocational Qualification related to cosmetology.
