This course is divided into two sections and aims to introduce non-music majors to the fundamentals of music theory and music performance. Technical students will be introduced to: pitch, duration, basic sight and ear training and performance. In addition performing student will learn the relationship between character and music. Students will learn how to explore and build a song much like you would a monologue whilst exploring themes and moods.
