This course is designed to equip students with knowledge of the law relating to the rights and obligations of purchases and sellers as provided under the Sale of Goods Act, the Hire Purchase act and the Consumer Protection legislation. Act is also explored. Further a general understanding is provided of the nature of businesses such as partnership and companies and in particular the concept of legal personality. The legality of negotiable instruments is also explored as well as the law relating to Agency.
