This course provides students with an understanding of the law relating to liability for civil wrongs which may not be the subject of a contract. The liability for injuries suffered through negligence is particularly examined together nuisance and occupiers liability. Special rules such as the rule under Rylands vs. Fletcher are also explored. A knowledge of the law relating to tortuous Liability concerning non-property wrongs and damage involving trespass to the person, defamation, vicarious and employers’ liability, remedies and defences is also provided.
