This is an introductory course to the literary analysis of narrative, dramatic and poetic works of West Indian authors. It examines the techniques of the various forms, characterization and structure of the type of works, and the style of the individual authors. Furthermore it seeks to help students to be aware of the philosophy of the writers as expressed through their works. It is a lecture discussion course.
