The selected units seek to introduce students to general legal principles and to specific legal concepts as they relate to the conduct of business. A fairly extensive coverage of the law of contract, Tort and related concepts is undertaken. Students are also exposed to the legal requirements for, and the legal consequences of forming various associations for the conduct of business. An examination of relevant case law is used to illustrate the most recent thinking and interpretation of Acts of Parliament by judges in the Commonwealth
