This course is designed to further enhance students’ ability to use mathematics in the solution of engineering problems. Topics include geometry and mensuration, algebra, including the solution of linear and quadratic equations and inequations. Students will also be introduced to the binomial expansion and its applications. The concept of matrices and determinants are applied in the solution of simultaneous equations in 2 or 3 unknowns.
