This course allows students to begin an in-depth study of a text related to a theme.
This course is designed to enable students to:
• Analyse and critique a literary text within the context of a specified theme.
• Use selected literary vocabulary and expressions appropriately both orally and in
writing.
• Develop an appreciation of the socio-cultural background to the text and theme
being studied.
• Develop additional research skills.
