This is an intensive course designed to further develop the students’ confidence in communicating with Spanish- speaking guests in situations occurring mainly at the reception desk and in other parts of a hotel in a Caribbean setting. It further develops fluency in the use of simple language required for giving information concerning rates, conditions of stay, services, and attractions of the hotel. It continues to develop speed, pronunciation, and intonation and to address aural comprehension of a limited range in the language commonly used by native speakers in the context of the hospitality industry.
