This course provides knowledge of and skills in map reading. It deals with reading and depicting conventional signs, relief, scales, slopes and marginal information on both large and small-scale maps and plans. It provides knowledge of Barbados 1/50000 map and other maps. Manual and computer assisted survey drawing and lettering, drawing media, drafting techniques and presentation are also covered.
