This course will provide the student with an overview of the fundamental theories and principles of organizational behaviour and illustrate how these theories are translated into practice within organizations. It will demonstrate the importance of understanding behaviour at the individual, the group, and the organizational levels when managing organizations.
In addition the course will provide the student with an understanding of how people behave in the context of an organizational structure. Having a greater knowledge of human behaviour should provide a better understanding of attitudes and behaviours of people at work - co-workers, subordinates, supervisors, and clients.
