This course is an extension of DANS 300. Students are trained students to develop a high level of technical proficiency. Emphasis is placed on motor skills in modern dance, dance vocabulary, body awareness and studies of dynamics and rhythm. Emphasis is also placed on the Cuban Modern Dance Technique as student is exposed to various modern dance styles – Cuban, Horton, Dunham, Limon, and Graham – and are kept informed about current developments through international guests tutors, film and or video
