The course is designed for those who are interested in acquiring skills in Cake and Pastry Making, and those who want to upgrade their home-making skills. It can also provide an avenue for you to work in Cottage Industries as a self-employed person.
In this course, you will study the fundamentals of baking basic items together with simple cake decorations. The topics you will be studying include baking terminology, making simple cakes and pastry, simple cake decorations, the safe use of tools and equipment, formula conversions, the functions of ingredients, and the use of proper types of flours and other ingredients used in cakes and pastries.
