This course, focuses on the leucocytes, relative to their morphological characteristics, composition and function, on the thrombocytes in haemostasis and on the coagulation cascade. Students also examine the pathological conditions associated with the bone marrow in myeloproliferative and myelodysplastic states and coagulation dysfunction.
