This course entails a practical study of the microbial flora where students are given the opportunity to develop the necessary skills required for the cultivation and identification of micro-organism in a clinical laboratory. These techniques will be based on the differences observed in the gram stain, biochemical reactions, growth characteristics and serological tests.
