This course entails a study of the medically important fungi, yeast and parasites. Various types of fungal and yeast sources will be reviewed in addition to their methods of culture, identification and mode of infection. The parasitic study will involve a detailed review of their epidemiology, life cycle, modes of infection, clinical manifestations, diagnostic stages and methods of identification.
