This course continues the study of Organic Pharmaceutical Chemistry. It involves the study of the following topics: Cardiovascular Drugs; Central Nervous System Drugs; Antimicrobial Agents.
The course focuses on such areas as: sub-classification of the various classes of drugs; the mechanism of action of drugs; the structures of the various drugs; structure activity relationships.
