Primarily the aim of this course is to develop written and oral skills/expression. To accomplish this, grammatical principles, appropriate register, codes and styles, clarity, conciseness and reasoning will be emphasised. Additionally, the course will also examine meaning as it relates to language and its structure. Finally, various styles of formal communication will be explored.
