This course is designed to equip students with an understanding of the law concerning families as it relates to marriage and children. The legal formalities required for marriage is examined together with issues related to maintenance, adoption and custody of children. Further as examination of the law relating to matrimonial proceedings and matrimonial property is obtained. In particular the main focus of the course is procedure, practice and drafting as it relates to family law matters.
This course focuses on the nature and importance of mechanisation in the field of agriculture. It provides opportunities for students to become familiar with the many kinds of equipment and tools used in agricultural production. The course also exposes the students to the practical aspects of mechanization and the use of other equipment, requiring them to develop related problem-solving skills. It provides an overview that is further developed in related courses. There is a practical attachment session at the end of this course.

This course enables the students to teach dance in primary and or secondary school. It covers class management and organisation and basic movement skills applied to creative dance with children. Students will have the opportunity to develop course outlines and unit and lesson plans, evaluation procedures and conduct simple lectures and discussions. Focus is on preparing teachers to teach dance at the CXC level for formal training at the studio level

It will focus on writing proposals, submitting estimates, budgeting, preparing financial statements, investment possibilities, and salary considerations.
This course is designed to introduce students to applications of differential equation as well as integration and differentiation as used in marginal analysis. In addition it introduces students to the applications of series and sequence as found in simple and compound Interest, depreciation and ordinary, simple annuities and ordinary annuity due. The course also exposes students to the operations done in matrices as well as to the applications relating to route, transition, input-output and game matrices.
This course seeks to develop further the students’ approach to two-dimensional art making. Students will combine technique theory and creative exploration in traditional and digital art media to produce a “sketchbook” based on their self-initiated final project. This “sketchbook” continues the students’ artist’s journey as they continue on the way to becoming visual journalists.
