This course is design to produce the student with the basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the design, and construction of buildings which are conducive to physiological, psychological a healthful human habitation. It will examine the public health safety and comfort of transportation ad recreational facilities.
This course commences with a brief survey of the influence that climate; geographical situation, geological formation and disposition of natural materials will have upon the form of a building. It goes on to deal with the construction process from site selection through to walls and plastering. The properties of materials encountered at these stages will also be treated and reference will be made to relevant Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and British Standards.
This course is designed to give the student basic overview of records management terminology, concepts, and procedures to successfully manage records and information management and associated legality issues. It focuses on development of knowledge necessary to establish and successfully manage organization wide records.
