Trident Learning

This course introduces students to the elements of drama and theatre. It combines practical and theoretical elements to provide an introduction to acting, playmaking and play production. The course aims to develop students’ awareness of theatre as an art form and to help students discover and discern the rich heritage of theatre.

This course is designed to sensitize students about the dangers associated with drug use/abuse and how an individual can develop a dependency problem.

The course also explores drugs as a social problem from a systems perspective, examining how drug abuse permeates every segment of society. The pharmacology and the effects of drugs on the body and brain will be examined.

Current theories and research relating to drug use will be reviewed and the prevention, intervention and treatment of drug abuse will be explored.
