This course is designed to train the student in:
- Routine maintenance of equipment and instruments in the preparation of surgery and the layout of instruments and equipment for all dental procedures;
- The recording and charting with notes of relevant medical and dental history on dictation by dental surgeon;
- Assisting at the chair side during all dental procedures;
- Pre and post operative care of patients;
- Dental ethics and laws relating to dentistry and the structure of the profession.

This course focuses on the dictation and sight-singing of diatonic melodies in major keys up to 4 sharps and 4 flats in simple time, as well as the identification of intervals in a major scale and cadences. The identification of major, minor, diminished, augmented and sus 4 triads are also examined.
Continuation of Ear Training 1 with the addition of the dictation and sight-singing of diatonic melodies in minor keys up to 4 sharps and 4 flats. The introduction of chromatic solfege syllables. The introduction of rhythms in compound time and syncopation as seen in 2/2 time in calypso charts. The dictation of bass lines and progressions using primary triads and their inversions.
The unit provides an exposition of the relationship between living organisms and their environment. It emphasises the energy relationships between living organisms in ecosystems; it explains the impact of energy losses on the organisation of food chains and food webs in ecosystems. It correlates the effects of human activities and the disruption of the intricate balance of the nutrient cycles, thus encouraging students to critically analyse the use of natural resources for development
Welcome to Effective Blended and Online Course Delivery face-to-face workshop. The workshop will be conducted by Mr Michael Lewis and Mr Kwame Edwards, Instructional Designers and will run from August 29 to 31, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. daily.
The workshop aims to expose instructors to various exciting strategies that will improve the delivery of lessons in online and blended modalities. At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:
(I) Refine learning objectives to better orient students to develop lifelong learning skills.
(II) Create instructional content that can reach diverse students in meaningful ways.
(III) Develop authentic assessment and assessment tools to improve students within the course and beyond.

This course has been designed to develop and enhance collections and customer service efforts to realize fundamental improvements, including delinquency reduction, increased revenue and cash flow, improved staff efficiency and customer satisfaction, reduction in operating expanses and improved communication and negotiation skills. It focuses on the theoretical and practical components, in order to assists participants to apply classroom concepts to on the job situations.
This course introduces students to the ideas of the European Enlightenment, and how they influenced revolutionary processes and radical movements in the Atlantic World during the eighteenth century. It explores the social, political and economic factors which led to the American and French revolutions.

Participants will explore issues pertaining to the use of technology and other instructional resources. Participants will also be provided with opportunities to design a variety of instructional resources that are culturally relevant utilising indigenous materials. It is anticipated that teachers will use the resources effectively to create a rich classroom environment conducive to teaching and learning. Additionally, it is hoped that the competencies gained as a result of participation in this course will help to establish a school culture of producing and utilising resources to enhance practice.
