FRNH 102- French Oral Communication for the Office provides students with the language skills and the social and cultural awareness needed to develop oral proficiency at the beginners' level. The course will enable students to use French to function in social and business contexts common to the specialized areas of study for which the foreign language program is designed.
The course focuses primarily on the oral-aural registers, but also provides reading comprehension and limited writing exposure.

This is a course designed to give the student confidence in communicating with French-speaking guests and employees in situations occurring in the Hospitality Industry both in a Caribbean and an international setting. It seeks to help students to develop fluency in the use of simple language required for sharing information pertinent to visitors’ food and beverage experience. The course seeks to develop the students’ level of competency in French. It develops speed, pronunciation, and intonation and addresses aural comprehension in French commonly used by native speakers in food and beverage context.

This course will introduce students to established principles governing human behaviour. It will show the relationship between biological and environmental factors in the development of personality and human learning and behaviour. It will explore the structure and dynamics of personality from several theoretical perspectives .
