Hi Team
A warm welcome to you all!!
I am your Tutor, Ronnay Worrell.
It’s great to have you as participants reading for PC201 – Bid Evaluation and Contract Award this Semester.
This course provides an in-depth examination of the Bid Evaluation process for consulting
services as well as for goods and works. Participants learn to assess all aspects of the process,
from the closure of the bid through to the Award of Contract. The course seeks to foster in
participants an appreciation of the importance of a well-developed Request For Proposal (RFP) /
Bidding Document while providing the knowledge and practice needed to be competent in
executing the three steps of the Bid Evaluation process and the Award of Contract.
I encourage you to make every effort to read ahead and 'stay on the wagon'.

This course has both theoretical and practical components and exposes students to the tennis experience. Analysis of the skill requirements for recreational and competitive situations is a major component. Students are encouraged to develop their own skills in tennis as they focus on the options for teaching and coaching methodologies. The course is based on competencies and students are required to demonstrate these competencies both as learners and teachers or coaches.
