This course is designed to introduce students to the operating systems of computers. This includes the fundamental structure of a computer system and logic frameworks. Students will initially be instructed in the writing of algorithms and flowcharts. Algorithms and flowcharts will then be converted into computer programs using the PASCAL programming language.

This course combines essential elements of applied mathematics, specifically the concepts of trigonometry and vectors, to develop students' competence in interpretation, analysis and problem solving.

This course introduces participants to the Procurement Plan, Procurement Planning and the Project Execution Plan (PEP). It further illustrates Procurement Planning as the most critical facet in the Procurement Cycle in that it lays out the road map for the proper execution of procurement. This course will enable students to create a Project Execution Plan (PEP)

This couse builds on the knowledge gained in PROC 101 with respect to procurement methods. It takes an in-depth look at procuring consulting servies through teh use of teh QUality and Cost Based Selection Method (QCBS). It begins with defining teh two types of consultancies: the Qualifications Consultant Selection (QCS) and the Consulting Firm. This course covers teh procuring process for both consultancy types, from preparation of Terms of Reference (TOR), preparation of Cost Estimates and the development of Expressions of Interest (EOI). It also provides students with an understanding of the items that make up a Request for Proposal (RFP).

This course provides an in-depth look at procuring Goods and Services through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) process. It begins with describing the rationale for the bid process and the factors involved when considering if to bid or not. It introduces the bidding document and its critical components and it also looks at the entire bidding process. This course affords participants the opportunit to prepare Technical Specifications and a Detailed Scope of WOrks. FInally, it enables participants to prepare pre-qualifing notices and pre-qualifying documents from Technical Specifications and Detailed Scope of Works
