This course focuses on the introduction of office layouts and the various characteristics of offices (e.g.) ventilation, health and safety. Students are introduced to reception techniques, written and oral communication, appointment scheduling, banking and mailing, filing and introduction to records management and organizing meetings. The student uses the medical office practice kit to gain experience in the various duties, which are associated with a doctor’s office.
This course introduces students to the basic theory and practice in Offset Lithography. You will learn how to operate and use printing presses and equipment in accordance to health and safety standards when producing quality documents such as business cards, letterheads, and business forms. This course lays the foundation for higher level studies in the field.

The objective of this course is to provide a means of acquiring knowledge and the skills necessary for performing specialized clerical duties in a law office.

This course sets out the basic principles and guidelines for producing well written work with due consideration of the layout of Service Writing which has a military identity and conforms to the international standard for correspondence.


Understanding the legal system of the military is an important basis for the performance of duties. The objective of this course is to provide officers with a basic understanding and appreciation of military law. The course will address basic issues, such as the unique elements of Military Law; military law's application; military jurisdiction; commander's liability; obedience to orders. Additional focus will address the aspects of Boards of Inquiries and Regimental Inquiries
