The aim of this course is to examine the theory and practice of teaching, focusing on tools and techniques for effective teaching in the area of dance and dance related subjects for the classroom and studio setting. Students will explore current methods of pedagogy in order to construct lessons plans, teach and evaluate technique classes under the direction of the tutor in charge to improve on individual teaching. Students will have formats, structures, and criteria for evaluating their practice.
This course enables students to study different methodology of script analysis to develop creative skills in interpretation of plays. Analytical methods provide students with glimpses of plays, both modern and historical, underlying structural principles leader to deeper understanding of overall meaning. The course also provides common working vocabulary and analysis for facilitating communication of production ideas for the actor, director, designer and technician.
This course seeks to gives students an understanding of performance assessment and appraisal systems, and the use of different reward system. Topics include: The use of appraisal, which is appraised, types of appraisal systems, what is appraised, Development of appraisal criteria, job analysis, appraisal interview the contingency approach to appraisal. Motivation and reward systems pay and reward management, performance improvement programmes, employee involvement, job satisfaction and the quality of work life, work design assumptions, motivation, performance and satisfaction.
This course provides further study of the use of the body as a performance instrument. Students are given opportunities to consolidate first year courses. Dance improvisation, dance making, solo performance, mime as well as advanced scene work, are explored by examining a number of performance techniques and acting theories.

CORSE DESCRIPTION
In an era defined by rapid technological advancement, educational leaders must be equipped not only with the knowledge and skills to use digital and emerging technologies, but with the strategic vision to identify and manage these tools effectively. Hence, this course aims to empower current and aspiring education leaders to lead digital transformation in schools and other learning institutions. The course is grounded in the Education Technology Frameworks and the ISTE Standards, thus ensuring that the necessary skills and competencies are attained in an effective, safe and equitable manner. Through four interconnected modules, participants will explore strategic planning, media and digital literacy skills, innovative teaching/learning strategies, and leadership development in the context of educational technology. The course emphasizes practical application, critical thinking, and visionary leadership to foster inclusive 21st century learning environments. It is a blended hands-on course and your active participation in online forums, group presentations, case studies, flipped classrooms and in-class practical sessions will help you acquire a deep understanding of the course content and the required skills to lead in technology transformation at your institution.
