This course is designed to enhance students’ ability in developing a decision-making framework using microeconomic theories and concepts. It is applied microeconomics. It seeks to use economic analysis to make business decisions involving the best use of a firm’s available resources. It uses quantitative techniques to determine optimisation goals and equilibrium positions of the firm and market.

LITT 121 – INTRODUCTION TO DRAMA This course will explore the development of Drama from early forms (Greek plays) to modern drama, including the Broadway play. It will explore the different theatrical genres-comedy, tragedy, melodrama and farce. Students will develop an understanding of the literary techniques and devices employed in the structure of drama.

SPNH 102 is an introductory language course which will provide students with the language skills and the social and cultural awareness needed to develop oral proficiency at the beginner's level. The course will enable students to use Spanish to function in social and business contexts common to the specialized areas of study for which the programme is designed. The course focuses primarily on the oral-aural registers but also provides reading comprehension and limited writing (note-taking) exposure.
