This course examines some of the quantitative dimensions of marketing management – from analysis control – and some of the techniques used to grapple with them.
This course is the first in a sequel of two courses on quantitative methods in health care and in design to introduce the students to the descriptive nature application and interpretation of quantitative measures in health care. It will cover areas including data presentation, numerical summary measures shapes of descriptions and of probability.
This course introduce student to the theories and application of inferential statistics. It provides students with the practical skills in analyzing and making inferences from health data. I will cover areas including binomial distribution, normal distribution, chi-square distribution, t-distribution, distributions with two random variable, law of large number, central limit theorem, statistical estimation, accuracy of estimates, hypothesis testing, sampling and experimental design, non parametric methods, regression with on in dependent variable, multiple regression as well as fallacies and traps.
