COURSE DESCRIPTION :
This course teaches the principles required to commission, service, up-grade and repair a tower/desktop/laptop computer system and its associated peripherals (FP Monitors, Matrix, Inkjet, Laser Printers and Uninterruptible Power Supplies).
It also immerses the student into a Basic Analog and Digital Electronics knowledge base that will enable them in testing and repairing a modern computer system and its associated peripherals.
Also inherent to this course, students will be exposed to the basic concepts of Computer Programming in C++ as well as Basic Computer Networking principles.

This course covers the basic principles of music notation by using FINALE (a music notation software package). It will also focus on getting musical ideas into the computer, editing these ideas, and printing them as scores and individual parts. Band In A Box is another software package that will be covered. This will serve to assist the students in creating quick accompaniments for practice and harmonic evaluation
This course covers the basic principles of sequencing and digital audio recording by using computer software sequencing packages. The data, once entered in the computer, will be edited and mixed and an audio CD produced.
