Emphasis is placed on efficient use of equipment, use of reference materials, correct punctuation, capitalization, spelling, editing, proofreading and various report formats. The main objectives of this course are to allow students to become familiar with chemical processes, which occur in their hair processing. This allows them to understand the reactions of different types of hair to various products and their constituents, and to make educated decisions for their clients. This area will rely heavily on material completed in the Basic Biology and Basic Chemistry Courses.
