This is a lecture discussion course in which there is further development of the knowledge and understanding of some of the concepts of population dynamics and distribution. The areas to be examined include: the major demographic characteristics of population; features of population distribution and density world-wide and by country; factors influencing distribution and density; features and factors influencing change through time and over space; problems and impact of population on the environment.
