Trident Learning

This introductory course provides the student with a basic knowledge of Cake and Pastry Making techniques and provides practical experience while learning new skills within the patisserie department.  Students will be introduced to traditional cake and pastry specialties suitable for different food outlets.

This course is a continuation of DANS 102.  It exposes students to the study of ballet with classes based on the RAD and or Ceehetti method.  It is designed to provide and enhance in students a strong technical base on which to build and develop their skills at ballet, through an understanding of their own bodies and the dynamics of movement.  It allows for the use of free style ballet incorporating exercises performed at the barre and centre using ballet terminology.  Allegro and Adagio combinations will be taught in order to improve on musicality and performance qualities

This course is a continuation of DANS 202.  Classes are based on the RAD and or Cecchetti method.  It is designed to provide and enhance in students a strong technical base on which to build and develop their intermediate ballet skills, through an understanding of their own bodies and the dynamics of movement.  It allows for the use of free style ballet incorporating exercises performed at the barre and centre using ballet terminology.  Allegro and Adagio combinations will be taught in order to improve on musicality and performance qualities.  The course will also facilitate students’ understanding of the various styles common to ballet.

This course is a continuation of DANS 302. It is designed to train students to a high level of technical proficiency in the study of ballet.  Classes are based on the RAD and or Cecchetti method. It allows for the use of free style ballet incorporating exercises performed at the barre and centre using ballet terminology.  Allegro and Adagio combinations will be taught in order to improve on musicality and performance qualities.  The course will also facilitate students’ understanding of styles common to ballet.

This course presents a basic study of human anatomy and physiology sufficient to give the dental assistant the prerequisite knowledge necessary in order to advance successful to advanced related courses. It includes the structure of the cell as a basic functional unit, primary tissues, the gross structure of the of the human body with emphasis on the cardiovascular respiratory, nervous and digestive systems, sufficient to assist the student to understand the principles of, for example, local and general anaesthesic, emergencies, and diet nutrition.

This course is for beginners to animation as it relates to animation and graphic design. This course provides students the fundamental skills to produce traditional animation and the knowledge of the principles of animation to be built upon for advanced animation. Students can also apply skills learned in this class in other areas including motion graphics, stop motion and computer generated animation. Emphasis on examination of concepts, characters and storyboards for basic animation production, creating movement and expression utilizing traditional or electronically generated image.
