This course develops proficiency, in the target language, both for aural interpretation and oral production.  Emphasis is placed on critical and creative thinking and on in-depth exploration of communication through the media.

This course is a follow-up to FRNH 170. Emphasis will be placed on developing writing skills in accurately manipulating and paraphrasing the target language in reading comprehensions, summaries and essays. Through comprehensive reviews and expansion of relevant language structures, vocabulary and idiom this course will also provide reinforcement for FRNH 161.

This course is a follow-up to FRNH 230. Students use target language to further extens their knowledge of complex contemparary and speaking the target language, while extending the students' knowledge of complex issues. This course also provides reinforcement for language and skills used in FRNH 231.

This course provides students with knowledge of basic marketing principles. It explains what is marketing, discusses the marketing environment, micro and macro environment, managing marketing information, consumer behaviour, marketing strategies and mix, product development and the product life cycle, strategies, segmentation and target markets, pricing, the marketing channels and supply chain and finally the marketing plan. 

Students who pursue this course are provided with knowledge of all the main principles of market.
