The course provides an introduction to the theoretical base of Physical Education from the perspective of both the Arts and the Sciences. Students are introduced to the Philosophical, Psychological, Sociology, Physiological and Biomechanical bases of Movement. The course provides a platform from which to launch the study of Physical Education as an academic discipline and a profession.

This course is designed introduce students to present day topics that relate to the internet. Such topics include E-commerce, building web pages, internet security, and others. Students will gain a hands-on experience on using the Internet and creating web pages.
This course introduces students to five Latin dances: the Cha Cha Cha, Jive, Rumba, Samba and the Paso Doble. Students receive a brief introduction to the history and terminology of these dances and learn and practice the rudiments of poise, footwork and basic patterns in Latin dancing

This course introduces the concept of cost accounting. It highlights the benefits to the manufacturer when a costing system is used. Methods of valuing stock, as well as determining stock value under various circumstances, will also be covered. An overview of equity profiling is addressed which demonstrates issuing of shares and the treatment of reserves. The course also guides students in the preparation of financial statements for businesses which need to be restructured or modified.
This course is based on an introduction to, and analysis of, effective approaches to governing the organization and administration of Physical Education and Sports Programmes. The course aims to address the needs of the students in the areas of study include management and programming of Physical Education and sports programmes, finances and budgets, equipment and supplies, planning of indoor and outdoor facilities, public relations and human resource management. Topical issues in Sport Management are explored in this course.

This course is an introductory examination and re-evaluation of many of our common sense assumptions about the social role of the mass media. The course is specifically geared toward future mass media professionals. Through lectures, discussions and class projects students will examine the organizational structures under which mass media production takes place, the grammars of media production and audience responses to mass media content.
